Plan UK works with some of the world’s poorest children so they can move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity. We currently sponsor two individuals: a young girl living with her family in provincial China and a young disabled boy in Sri Lanka.

Helping the Burmese Delta

We have funded the building of a new school in the Burmese village of Ngoke Chaung. Facilities have improved from little more than a shack with a mud floor, which became unusable in the rainy season, to a purpose-built school building that provides new educational opportunities to Burmese Delta children.
