Having studies Economics and Politics at Cardiff University, following graduation Corinne joined a global market research agency, on the graduate training programme. She spent several years in the consumer division, working up to position of Director, and focusing on strategic innovation and branding projects. She has gained wide cross-category experience, most recently in household appliances, alcoholic beverages and car maintenance.
Corinne joined Bonamy Finch in 2009, as a Director in the Research Solutions team. She specialises in what she describes as “non-straightforward research”, and prides herself on her excellent project management skills.
Why did you pursue a career in market research?
I’m interested in people and what makes them tick, I’d describe myself as inquisitive although some may call it nosey!
What is a typical day like for you?
There’s no such thing as a typical day at Bonamy Finch as every project we work on is different, one size rarely fits all. However, we do eat cake most days.
What’s the most fun project you’ve worked on?
A piece of promotional event research across several music festivals. We had plenty of volunteers to help with the interviewing for that one!
And what would you have done if you hadn’t been a researcher?
Well as a child I wanted to be a criminal investigator, fuelled, I’m sure, by a love of Enid Blyton books. There was a lot of cake-eating going on in those too....
