Lindsay is an experienced market research project manager. She came to Bonamy Finch in 2008, bringing her particular expertise in running successful multinational programmes.
She began working in market research in 1997 during her Strategic Management degree, which included a 12 month placement client-side in the Consumer Intelligence department of Nestle UK.
Following graduation, Lindsay worked in a small agency where she developed detailed knowledge of all aspects of the ad hoc process. A company merger with a leading US agency gave her the opportunity to help manage a 30 market syndicated trends tracker, learning best practice for international and tracking projects.
After further industry consolidation and a company restructure in 2005, Lindsay was invited to join an international team specialising in segmentation and other research for strategic management as part of the new global agency. Here she worked on creating and rolling out segmentations in sectors including food and drink packaging, beers, consumer finance, jewellery and luxury goods.
What are you most passionate about professionally?
I confess. I’m a details, details, details perfectionist. I am proud of the work we do here and love seeing our findings implemented in real life.
What are you most passionate about personally?
Eating good food and, obviously, my kids whose favourite phrases are also ’What’s for tea?’, ’When is it snack time?’ and ’Can I have some of that?’
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
Alice from Alice in Wonderland. She’s interested in others (nosy!) and kind hearted and helpful but doesn’t take any nonsense.
What is the most interesting project you have worked on?
A segmentation developed on attitudes to personal appearance and all the different motivations people have for trying to look their best.
What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
Uptown Girl, I Will Survive, Sweet Child of Mine, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Walking on Sunshine, Promise Me, The Wheels on the Bus.
